What Does "LiTPOW" Mean?

What's up with the name? What does "LiTPOW" mean, anyways?

litpow.com was actually a domain name that I purchased several years ago. At the time I purchased it, I had envisioned creating a site with various "branching narratives", almost like a game where players could choose different paths in a story. All the text for the game would be served from text stored on Bitcoin, thereby relying upon Bitcoin's Proof of Work (POW) consensus mechanism.

So, LiTPOW, literally, meant "Literary Proof-of-Work." Lit-POW.

I tend to think of the name as being like a fuse that's LIT and then… POW! This is the energy I'm trying to express through the business.

I also chose to go with LiTPOW as a name because it's short and easy to remember. And yes, the lower-cased "i" is just for style. Litpow, litpow, LiTPOW, LITPOW… it really doesn't matter.
