Establishing the Root

A New Way to Prove Ownership

In a world flooded with fakes, knockoffs, and unverifiable claims, how do you prove something is yours... not just now, but from the very beginning?

This question isn’t just theoretical. It’s foundational to how trust works in the modern, digitized world. And it’s a question I’ve been focused on solving in a way that’s secure, transparent, and permanent, without relying on hype or third-party platforms.

The answer, for me, starts with something I call the Root Declaration.

What Is a Root Declaration?

The Root Declaration, as I'm calling it, is a statement that lives permanently on Bitcoin’s public, timestamped server. You can check it out on the LiTPOW's website here, using this link: root-declaration. In essence, this declaration contains a signed message stating that “I am the owner of litpow.com”.

But it’s more than just a message. It’s backed by three cryptographic proofs of ownership:

  1. Proof of site ownership – My public key is displayed openly on litpow.com/root
  2. Proof of timestamped statement – The statement itself is sealed into Bitcoin’s public ledger and points directly to the site.
  3. Proof of key control – I can digitally sign any message using the private key that created that timestamp. That signature can be independently verified by anyone, anytime.

The above elements form a foundation and origin point. And, it's simple to trace transactions back to the origin.

Why Call It a “Root”?

More than just a timestamp, this root transaction marks the begining-point of LiTPOW.

With how I've designed Proof of Authenticity, every authenticated release (of, for example, a physical product) traces back to this origin.

Think of it like publishing. In traditional publishing, you might record a copyright or get a library entry… some formal marker that states your work began on a certain day. But such records often rely on centralized databases, proprietary systems, or trusted authorities.

In contrast, this root is publicly timestamped, globally distributed, and mathematically provable. There is no central gatekeeper. Just an open record written into the fabric of Bitcoin’s timestamp server that can’t be altered or erased.

Proof of Authenticity Matters

This system gives me, and anyone using it, a way to prove the authenticity of what we create. My goal is to help real creators fight counterfeiting, affordably and simply.

The Root Declaration doesn’t just say “this is mine." It proves: I made this. I said it first. And here’s the timestamp to prove it.

And from here, we can continue branching onwards and outwards, over time.

What Comes Next

Now that the root is established, everything published with LiTPOW's Proof of Authenticity (such as authorized physical products) will be traceable through this system.

Each new release is a branch growing from this root. Each one can be independently verified as authentic and linked back to the origin. Over time, this forms a public, traceable publishing chain. Think of it as a trust graph built on math, not easily-forged statements.

You don’t need to be a cryptography expert to use it or benefit from it. You don't need to own Bitcoin.

With LiTPOW, it's very clear whether an item traces back to the root or not. It's a new way to establish trust and authenticity.

LiTPOW helps authentic creators protect the real value of their work by making it easy to prove the authenticity of real items. Traceable, permanent, secure. Simple and Affordable. Questions? Contact Us:
